TESTIMONIALS

Here is what people have been saying about Jen's paintings:

Jeni,

Believe it or not, everyday I want to email you to thank you for your wonderful painting.  Your painting has had a profound impact on me, besides the point in it being stunningly beautiful, it has forced me to recognize and acknowledge certain aspects in my life that need to once again see the light of day; scary as it might be for me.  In that, I thank you very much.  Thank you for gifting me with this beautiful piece of art - I will hold It closely to my heart!

All the best,

Nina (Nina received a commissioned Spiritpainting from Lightwolf)

Spiritpainting is a freeform, improvisational style of painting. It allows the spontaneous creation of paintings of great beauty that approach the exquisiteness of Nature's displays - from the veined delicacy of flower petals, to the glory of a sunrise or sunset, to the complexity and contours of polished agate. But even more than this it is an easily available way to access the subconscious mind and draw forth visions with potent Symbology and meaning. Used as an oracular system it produces deeply impactful artifacts of lasting value. As a form of creative expression, it requires little in the way of materials and technique while offering an infinite range of visual and symbolic expression.

There are so many talented visionary artists in the world today. I look on much of their work with awe. Here are a few favorites and a couple of sources that showcase many more. I have to begin with and thank Jeni Jones personally. It was walking into her studio in Ontario and seeing one of her SpiritpaintingsTM on the wall, and then taking a class with her in how to create them, that started me on my way as a visual artist. But where she gets these nice compositions I got mostly multi-colored blobs with little to no artistic merit. But, ahhh, in the details there was much of interest just begging to be explored and developed. It took getting a Mac (thank you Apple), PhotoShop (thank you Adobe), a scanner and art printer (thank you Epson) to begin to realize my vision.

From Randy’s Website 2005

"Learning to do Spiritpainting was wonderful fun. I felt freely creative as a child and didn't want to stop! But then came the analysis time and this was even more rewarding as I saw how much I could learn about myself. Since taking Jeni's workshop, I have bought my own paints and continue to make Spiritpaintings. I have four framed ones in my room and sometimes replace an older painting with a newer one so that I can reflect on my spiritual growth or momentary state of being as revealed by the paintings”.
